Aperol & Jam Negroni

This twist on a traditional Negroni is a great introduction to one of the classics. The Aperol is slightly less bitter than Campari, and the jam adds an extra bit of sweetness. If you haven't tried a Negroni yet or you have a friend who isn't sure about the bitter taste of Campari, this might just win them round!


Ingredients for one Negroni:
- 25ml aperol
- 25ml vermouth
- 25ml gin
- 1 tsp rhubarb and ginger jam
- Ice
- Slice of orange or pink grapefruit

Measure the jam and alcohol in to a cocktail shaker, then shake well. Put the ice and orange in a glass, then pour over the cocktail mix. Allow to cool for a minute or two then sip away!
